Wheeling, W. Va. - On Wednesday, the Mountain East Conference (MEC) released their annual postseason awards, naming the All-MEC First and Second Teams as well as the Honorable Mention. It was a big day for the Wheeling University Baseball team as they had five total award winners and two players ended up on the All-MEC First Team. The first team award winners were sophomore J.R. Heavilin at designated hitter and senior Jack Skantze at outfielder.
