President Trump plans to install two 100-foot flagpoles on the White House lawns to fly American flags.

Trump stated, "We're putting up a beautiful, almost 100-foot-tall American flag," and emphasized that the flagpoles will be "top of the line."

The flagpoles will be paid for by Trump and are expected to arrive at the White House in about a week.

Currently, the White House flies an American flag from a rooftop flagpole, and an American flag and POW/MIA flag are flown on a separate flagpole on the rooftop.

Trump mentioned the need for flagpoles at the White House, stating, "They've needed flagpoles for 200 years. It was something I've often said."
