Andrew McCutchen's time as a Pittsburgh Pirate is over. I would argue that the Pirates wasted the prime of one of the best players in baseball. Despite that, "Cutch" gave bucco fans some great memories. Here are a few:

In 2013, McCutchen was the National League MVP. He hit .317 with 21 home runs and 84 RBI. He led the Pirates to the playoffs where they gave me one of my best memories as a sports fan.

Like most of Pittsburgh, I'm angry. Mostly, though, I'm sad. Andrew McCutchen reunited Pittsburgh with its baseball team. Now, like Barry Bonds before him, the face of the franchise is off to San Fransisco.
