With AB leaving pressure falls on JuJu

JuJu Smith-Schuster is the darling of Pittsburgh. He's a charitable guy, he works hard, and he puts up numbers on the football field. In fact, Juju was 5th in the league in receiving last year, and had the 6th most catches in the game.

Things are about to get tougher for the young man. JuJu was targeted 164 times this past season. One of the reasons the ball came his way so much is because Antonio Brown was being consistently double-teamed.

Without Antonio Brown, Smith-Schuster is going to take the lions share of the coverage. Here's betting he can take it.

In JuJu's rookie year, he was the youngest player in the NFL. That didn't stop him from catching a 97 yard touchdown pass, and it didn't stop him from racking up 917 receiving yards. He was a difference maker in year one.

Year two, as mentioned above, was even better. He's excellent with the ball in the air, makes the combat catches, and has reliable hands.

There will be a learning period next season for JuJu without Antonio Brown sucking some coverage away, but I have faith that he will be up to the challenge. He's met every challenge to this point in his career.
