There's no quick fix for the Steelers offense

Let me get this out of the way: Mason Rudolph was bad on Thursday night. Real bad.

It can also be said that it's not all his fault.

The Steelers are supposed to have one of the best offensive lines in football. They haven't play like it this year. That's not Mason Rudolph's fault.

James Conner left Thursday's game early after re-injuring his shoulder. The Steelers top two WR's, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Diontae Johnson each left the game with a concussion.

Rudolph was throwing to Johnny Holton and Tevin Jones and was handing the ball off to Tony Brooks-James.

You're not going to score points when those are your offensive weapons. It just isn't going to happen.

The Steelers need to get healthy. But even if they do, they haven't shown an ability to put points on the board.

I thought Mason Rudolph's best performance was what he showed us against the Los Angeles Rams. He followed it up with his worst performance.

This just in: Duck Hodges isn't going to score with Johnny Holton and company. Colin Kaepernick isn't going to score with Tevin Jones and company. Nor is Paxton Lynch going to score handing the ball off to Brooks-James.

Ben Roethlisberger ain't walking through that door. There are no quick fixes for this offense.

The best chance the Steelers have to win is by getting healthy, and hope that the defense can go back to taking the ball away three times a game.
