Yep, the Penguins are 0-7-1 in their last eight games in Boston. So what?
You know who was on the roster in 2014? Craig Adams, Marcel Goc, Beau Bennett, Brandon Sutter, Steve Downie, Christian Erhoff, and Blake Comeau. MIKE JOHNSTON was the coach of that team. Woof.
What the hell does that have to do with right now? Nothing.
Yeah, losing to Boston on Thursday wasn't that big of a deal. The Penguins are a good hockey team. They were 18-6-4 without Sid. They boast great depth. In fact, they remind me of the 2016 Penguins.
I hate the Bruins as much as the next guy, but it's not some big disgrace losing to that hockey team. They were a bad first period in game seven away from being Stanley Cup champions last year. They've lost just 9 times in regulation in their past 49 games.
The Penguins don't have a Bruins problem. The league does. They're good. So are the Penguins. Sometimes you lose to good hockey teams.
To suggest that the Penguins aren't "tough enough" is laughable.
