Cardi B Thanks Haters In Best New Artist Speech At iHeartRadio Music Awards

Cardi B won the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday (March 11) night in more ways than one.

The rapper kicked off the awards ceremony with a fire opening set where she performed a medley of her hits. From spitting bars from "Bodak Yellow" and "Bartier Cardi," to rapping verses from her guest features of Migos' "MotorSport," G-Eazy's "No Limit" and Bruno Mars' "Finesse;" Cardi did that. But, the artist's fun night didn't stop there.

Later on in the awards show, Bardi won the "Best New Artist" trophy and her #BardiGang couldn't have been anymore proud of her. While accepting the award onstage, Cardi gave a speech that left everyone cheering. First; the rapper thanked her publicist, fans and family for all of their support. “I wanna thank my fans, Bardi Gang, because even when I’m wrong they be like, ‘She’s still right!’” Cardi laughed.

Then, Cardi gave a special shoutout to all the people who hate on her grind. After all, they beg for attention from her so much anyway, so why not? “And I wanna thank my haters too because they be downloading my stuff so they can hear it and talk crap about it, but it benefits me!” she said. Even 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards presenter Paris Hilton loved the shade. “I love her!” the heiress was caught telling her fiance after Cardi's words.
