#2 West Liberty Travels to Wheeling U for Ohio County Rivalry Game

WHEELING, W.Va. – The No. 2-ranked West Liberty men close out the regular season against a familiar foe this afternoon when they make the short trip down Route 88 to take on Ohio County rival Wheeling. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m. inside the McDonough Center.

Coach Ben Howlett's Hilltoppers (25-2, 19-2) shot nearly 60 percent from the floor on Wednesday in breezing to their 11th straight win, a 105-88 stroll past Notre Dame (Ohio). Reigning MEC Player of the Week Bryce Butler went 12-for-14 from the floor to lead all scorers with 28 points.

The Cardinals (9-18, 8-13) halted a three-game slide with an 85-82 win against Alderson Broaddus. Jordan Reid tied his career-high with 34 points and Wheeling shot an eye-popping 70 percent (7-of-10) from the 3-point arc to hold off the Battlers.
