BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - The Mountain East Conference Preseason Poll has the West Liberty University men's basketball team at the top for the fifth consecutive season. The Hilltoppers received 115 points and five first place votes to edge out Fairmont State by two points.
West Liberty begins its season in the home confines of the ASRC hosting the Atlantic Region Crossover on November 11 and 12. Pitt-Johnstown makes a trip to the hilltop on November 16 to wrap up a three-game homestand for the Black and Gold to start the year. Conference play is set to begin on November 19 at Alderson Broaddus.
