COLORADO IS BEING SUED AGAIN OVER GUN LAWS And this is from the Department of Justice. Two suits now, one about Denver's assault weapons ban and one about Colorado's high capacity magazine ban. I'll have someone on next week about this in depth, but if this goes to the Supreme Court, which I'm sure it will because Colorado will make sure to appeal it all the way up so they get smacked down AGAIN, this will have far reaching consequences that are positive for gun owners and bad for gun grabbers. They keep going too far and this is how it ends.

YES, THERE IS A BUDGET SHORTFALL BUT RAISES ARE STILL BEING GIVEN Sneaky legislators put an automatic pay increase into legislation. Not only for 2027 but for future raises as well. No more will they have to demonstrate their worthiness, now they get a bump whether they suck or not. Help for people with developmental disabilities got their Medicaid services cut because of the "budget shortfall" but the legislators got a pay raise. Read it here.

AS PARK COUNTY TURNS IS QUITE THE SOAP OPERA The Park County Sheriff Tom McGraw, Undersheriff Steve Spodyak and Spodyak's wife Katie are personally suing the county manager for slander and defamation, alleging he spread damaging lies about them throughout the small Colorado mountain community. They allege that the County Manager has been spreading lies around the small community and they aren't having any of it. There is an election coming up for Sheriff McGraw is retiring but his Undersheriff is running to replace him. In a small town a rumor campaign is the absolute worst and I'm glad they are fighting back.

UFOS ARE A THING NOW And all those people who got abducted must feel somewhat vindicated after the government made a bunch of UFO files available on the internet. Luckily, things are so crazy on Earth this is not going to create any sort of panic. I'm going to let the UFO loving folks sort through all this and tell me what to pay attention to, as I figure the aliens haven't landed here yet (except Elon) so we must scare them off with our insane behavior.

"If Only — He should live long enough to witness his inevitable devastating loss in the midterms, be held accountable for his unprecedented corruption, impeached, convicted & humiliated for his countless crimes."

I mean, isn't this the same as what James Comey did? This demonstrates the stupidity of arresting Comey in the first place. There isn't enough room in the jails for every lib that wishes Trump dead on social media. Hamill did give a non apology apology but we all know he didn't mean it.

MCDONALDS SHOWS THE FREE MARKET WORKS And by focusing on value, they had a great first quarter. Prices for fast food are too high for what you get still but hopefully this will put downward pressure on all of it.

COLORADO'S CRIME RATE IS STILL STUPID HIGH And we all know its because of a few things like Democrats letting too many people out of prison, while welcoming unvetted illegal immigrants, some of whom were violent gang members, while also lowering penalties for existing crimes. Violent crime peaked in Colorado during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, but these crimes, such as murder, rape, and robbery all decreased by at least 30% overall since 2021.
