OCSO: Jenison man charged with 2 counts of indecent exposure

GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office asks anyone with information about a Jenison man who allegedly exposed himself to a teenage girl twice inside a Georgetown Township business to contact Silent Observer or the Sheriff's Office.

It says 68-year-old Robert Kenneth Linscott was taken into custody Monday at his home and formally charged in district court with two counts of Indecent Exposure by a Sexually Delinquent Person. Bond was set at $100,000 dollars cash/surety. The incidents allegedly occurred on June 24th and July 28th at the business on Baldwin Street.

Deputies began investigating after a subject entered a business in the 3600 block of Baldwin St. in Georgetown Township on 6/24/24, at approximately 4:30 p.m. The male suspect exposed himself to a teenage female in the business and left the area. He was gone upon the arrival of deputies in the area.

The suspect, identified as 68-year-old Robert "Bob" Linscott was taken into custody by detectives and lodged without incident at the Ottawa County Jail.

On 7/30/24, Linscott was arraigned by the Honorable Judith Mulder in the 58th District Court on charges of Indecent Exposure by a Sexually Delinquent Person (2 Counts). Bond was set at $100,000 cash/surety and Linscott remains lodged at the Ottawa County Jail.
