Mothership Coffee Roasters created a braille menu for their visually impaired customers in a partnership with the Nevada Blind Children's Foundation.
The coffee shop introduced the new menu recently at their St. Rose location in Henderson in honor of Braille Literacy Month.
Rená Smith, who is visually impaired, helped translate the menu for Mothership Coffee.
She said accessibility and inclusivity is important because, "It allows me the ability to maintain my independence instead of having to wait on someone to read the menu for me.”
The braille menus are now available at all 10 Mothership Coffee Roasters locations.
