Republicans grabbed a few key victories Tuesday night, with Jimmy Patronis winning Florida’s 1st Congressional District and Randy Fine securing the 6th District.
Both candidates easily defeated their Democrat challengers, helping the GOP hold its slim House majority. Fine credited his win to former President Trump’s endorsement, calling it a victory for the "America First" movement.
Meanwhile, More than $100 million was spent on Wisconsin’s Supreme Court race, making it the most expensive in U.S. history. Liberal Susan Crawford defeated former Republican Attorney General Brad Schimel, giving Democrats control of the court. Despite strong support from conservative groups, a flood of left-wing donor money helped push Crawford to victory.
