How To Get More Vitamin D

Now that it’s summer it’s time to soak up the sun and produce that vitamin D. Nearly half of Americans are deficient in the crucial vitamin that helps support the immune system and so much more. Getting outside is one way to build up your Vitamin D, but there are other ways too. Here they are:

  • Supplements
  • Foods that contain Vitamin D. Fatty fish like salmon, sardines and mackerel contain the most vitamin D3, while egg yolks, liver and red meat contain smaller amounts
