Ft. Lauderdale Holds Emergency Meeting To Discuss Street Art

An emergency meeting on tap in Ft. Lauderdale tonight as the city leaders discuss how best to deal with the Florida Department of Transportation's deadline to remove LGBTQ street art from several intersections. Mayor Dean Trantalis says this feels more hateful than political. But Governor Ron DeSantis says he's simply following state law. The city has until next Thursday to comply, or the state will remove the markings, putting future road projects at risk.
