(Polk County, IA) -- Students and teachers in Saydel Schools are starting their day a bit later Tuesday.

In a Facebook post, Superintendent Todd Martin says a transformer outage on 2nd Avenue Monday created a disruption in communications.

School personnel worked throughout the night to resolve the issue and Martin says school will start two hours later than normal.
