Stranded Dolphins Rescued And Treated In Wareham

In Wareham, two stranded dolphins were rescued and are currently under observation.

The Wareham Department of Natural Resources were called earlier this week to Beaver Creek where they discovered the stranded animals.

They were found both active and alive.

The International Fund for Animal Welfare Team provided assistance.

Officials say both dolphins were given a preliminary check and are continuing to be evaluated.

After the evaluation period they will get additional care and released back into the waters.
