Wheeling, W. Va. - On Thursday, the Mountain East Conference (MEC) released their annual Softball post-season awards with 31 student-athletes earning recognition. The Wheeling University Softball team had an honoree as sophomore Autumn Oehlstrom was named an All-MEC First Team utility/designated player. For Oehlstrom, it is her first career All-MEC honor and she is the first Wheeling Softball player named to the All-MEC First Team since former Cardinals Mallory Chapman, Victoria Scott, and Alaina York were named to the All-MEC First team back in 2018.
